We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled PR Account Manager to join this brilliant team.
You will lead a portfolio of consumer and B2B accounts in the health, wellbeing, and food space.
Our client is truly passionate about creating and implementing innovative campaigns that engage and excite audiences. And we need someone with a proven track record in this field to take the reins!
As the PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing client accounts, retaining clients, and ensuring that all campaigns are executed to the highest standard.
What do you need?
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum three years of consumer/FMCG experience, ideally in a consumer PR agency, and strong consumer media knowledge including news gen.
As the ideal candidate, you are a strategic thinker with the ability to think out of the box, come up with big ideas, and spark creativity amongst others. You are also someone who brings fresh thinking to the table, has a keen attention to detail, and is hands-on. You have exceptional client relationship skills, campaign management skills, and excellent writing skills. And is commercially savvy with interest in the food/health/wellbeing space.
What will you do?
Your main duties and responsibilities will include being client-facing on your accounts and being responsible for strategy and implementation on designated accounts.
You’ll be maintaining a good understanding of clients’ business objectives, media, and issues in the wider industry sector. As well as planning and managing multiple campaigns to meet objectives.
You will also need to have sound B2B media knowledge, experience in crisis comms, good working knowledge of the social media, digital space. And be IT literate (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate leadership qualities in account direction and company activities in general, working to constantly improve the overall effectiveness. And work environment, profitability of the company. You will also need to support the development and implementation of strategies for new business generation.
