PR & Communications
Are you a seasoned PR professional with a passion for the global food industry?
Are you ready to take charge of high-profile consumer campaigns and be the driving force behind UK and global PR efforts?
We have an exciting opportunity for a PR Director to lead the PR initiatives for a renowned global food industry export body.
As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations. Plus overseeing consumer campaigns! And serving as a trusted advisor to the UK director and global communications team. With 7+ years of PR experience, including agency expertise, you'll have the skills necessary to excel in this role.
Your network of consumer journalist contacts will be instrumental in securing media coverage and promoting the organisation's mission. While your primary focus will be on consumer-oriented initiatives, your versatility will allow you to navigate the B2B landscape when required. Excellent stakeholder management skills will enable you to effectively engage with various partners, both internal and external.
Given the nature of this complex organisation, prior experience working with similar structures will be advantageous. You'll thrive in managing multiple projects concurrently. And delivering results aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Leading a team of six professionals, you'll collaborate closely with the CEO, media buying team. As well as retail experts, and social strategist. While this position offers the flexibility of remote work, you can anticipate monthly travel to London for client interaction and events.
What's in it for you?
In return for your dedication, the business offers a competitive salary range of £45k-£52k, along with a discretionary bonus scheme. This agency understands the significance of work-life balance and invest in their employees' well-being. The agency’s benefits package includes five weeks of holiday, funded foodie nights out. As well as team lunches, and access to an employee assistance programme, ensuring mental well-being support.
The agency embraces flexible working arrangements, enabling the team members to operate from various locations across the UK. And with start and finish times tailored to individual preferences. They also encourage weekly "walking meetings" and host virtual socials, fostering team camaraderie and engagement.
Join this fully remote-first business, with hubs in Brighton, Bristol, London, and Liverpool. While full team meetings occur monthly in London, you'll have weekly hub working days at the nearest location. And your travel expenses will be covered!
