We’re looking for a talented PR & Social Executive to join a thriving, business that work with some of the most respected brands and events in the equestrian, canine, countryside living and pet sectors.
From internationally renowned horse trials to iconic country lifestyle events, this is an exceptional opportunity. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive and ambitious team, helping shape integrated PR and social strategies that blend traditional countryside culture with contemporary digital marketing.
What you’ll bring
- Around 18 months’ experience in PR and social media, ideally within an agency environment, but clientside welcome too.
- A genuine passion for country pursuits and lifestyles.
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach, be comfortable working as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent writing, grammar and fact-checking skills.
- Strong organisation, the ability to plan ahead, manage deadlines and support multiple clients.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and media.
- An analytical mindset, able to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Natural ability to spot opportunities that help clients achieve their communications goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Building strong relationships with journalists, influencers, bloggers and media outlets.
- Pitching stories and securing high-quality coverage across print, digital and social.
- Monitoring media activity and evaluating impact.
- Supporting integrated PR campaigns: drafting releases, securing placements, engaging influencers and delivering social content.
- Creating engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn (copy, imagery, video, graphics).
- Managing day-to-day social activity, including scheduling, posting, community engagement and reporting.
- Maintaining media lists and spotting fresh coverage opportunities.
- Providing hands-on PR support across the wider team.
- Contributing to new business research, creative ideas and proposals.
